About Pole Divas Point Cook
Pole Divas Point Cook is the western suburbs studio of the Pole & Aerial Divas group, based in a unit on Wallace Avenue. It is very much a community studio: alongside pole, lyra hoop and aerial silks courses for women, it runs Little Divas and teen classes for younger students. It also hosts private parties for adults, and because the room has aerial rigging as well as poles, the group gets a choice of what to try. A studio party lasts 90 minutes. Guests are handed an alcohol-free sparkling as they arrive, then an instructor runs a warm-up, shows the group a few tricks and teaches a routine that everyone can perform by the end. Pole with lap dance is the usual theme, but the party can instead be run on aerial silks or the lyra hoop. Hens and birthdays are the obvious fit, though the studio is just as happy to host a divorce party or a group of friends who have always wanted to give pole a go, and the group picks the music. Parties need at least ten guests, all aged 18 or over – the junior classes don't extend to parties. If the group would rather stay put, the Divas team also offers a one-hour lap dance party at a home, hotel room or other venue for a flat rate, secured with a deposit. Men are welcome at private functions, although the regular classes are for women only. Send an enquiry to book either option.

How much is a studio party?
Studio parties cost $40 per guest with a minimum of ten guests. Parties starting from 8pm and parties on public holidays each attract a $50 surcharge.
Can the instructor come to us instead?
Yes. The Divas off-site party runs for one hour at your home, hotel room or venue and teaches a lap dance routine, for a flat $300 with a $100 deposit that is not refunded if you cancel.
The studio teaches kids – can teenagers join a party?
No. Although Point Cook runs Little Divas and teen classes, Divas parties are strictly for guests aged 18 and over.
Do we need experience or special shoes?
No experience is needed, and heels are optional rather than compulsory. Shorts and a singlet or T-shirt suit pole; full-length leggings and socks suit silks or lyra.
