About Harrigan's Hunter Valley
Harrigan's Hunter Valley is a pub, bistro and accommodation complex at 2090 Broke Road, Pokolbin, right next door to Hunter Valley Gardens and a short drive from plenty of cellar doors. Inside it keeps a rustic feel with fireplaces and timber booths, and the bistro runs breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. Live bands play on Friday and Saturday nights and on Sunday afternoons, and the on-site rooms mean a group can celebrate and then walk to bed. There are four main areas for parties. The Deck is a raised space looking over the vineyards, with a private bar, a TV screen, a sound system and room for a band; it can be closed in if the weather turns, and it holds 50 to 120 seated or up to 240 standing. The open-air Terrace is the biggest area, seating 250 or taking 500 for a cocktail event, and parts of it can be used for smaller groups. For something more intimate, the Oak Room beside the Terrace and the Clover Leaf, a semi-private nook in the bistro with stained-glass windows, each take 30 seated or 50 standing. Two conference rooms handle daytime meetings for up to 60. Food is handled by the kitchen team, with options running from a casual pizza, ribs and wings spread or a limited à la carte menu at $42 per person, through finger food packages, to a two- or three-course deluxe dinner. Shared planks and a recovery breakfast suit hens and bucks weekends. Drinks are covered by classic or premium beverage packages, with spirits and extras on a bar tab or cash bar. Room hire applies to each space, a $300 deposit secures the booking and every function wraps up by midnight.

What does room hire cost?
The Deck is $1,000 for four hours from Friday to Sunday and $500 for four hours midweek. The Oak Room and the Clover Leaf are $200 for four hours each, and Terrace pricing is quoted on request.
What food packages are available?
Group menus start at $42 per person for a limited à la carte menu or a shared pizza, ribs and wings menu. Finger food packages are $45 or $70 per person, the deluxe dinner is $65 for two courses or $75 for three, and shared planks start at $200 each.
Can we bring our own drinks?
No, the venue is licensed and BYO alcohol isn't allowed. Classic beverage packages start from $60 per person and premium packages from $70 per person, and extra drinks can go on a bar tab or be bought by guests at the bar.
How late can a party run, and is there a deposit?
Every function has to finish by midnight under the venue's licence. A signed confirmation and a $300 non-refundable deposit are due within 14 days of booking, with final numbers and payment due 14 working days before the event.
