About Enzo Weddings
Enzo Weddings sits on Ironbark Hill Vineyard at 694 Hermitage Road, Pokolbin, the estate that is also home to Peter Drayton Wines. It is a dedicated wedding venue suited to 80 to 150 guests, and because the chapel, reception room and photo spots share one property, nobody needs a bus between the vows and the dance floor. Mel, who has run weddings here with Chef Pug for more than 17 years, and coordinator Amii look after planning and the day itself. Ceremonies take place in The Chapel, an air-conditioned building with floor-to-ceiling glass looking onto the vines and handmade timber entry doors, seating up to 150. In the reception room, chandeliers hang from a tall ceiling above a sandstone hearth, and glazed doors lead straight out to the vineyard, with room for a long-table or round-table setup and a busy dance floor. Its bar was designed by a wedding stylist and is framed by greenery and six chandeliers. Around the buildings are 30 acres of vines, rolling hills and tall ironbark trees, which give photographers plenty to work with at sunset. Food is cooked in-house by Chef Pug Warren, and the bridal party is kept supplied with drinks and canapés while photos are taken. The bar pours Peter Drayton wines and Hunter Valley craft beers, and guests can buy other drinks there too. Couples and family can stay on site at Enzo Cottage, a sandstone cottage for up to eight, or at the vineyard's own retreat and villas. Pricing comes in the wedding kit, requested through the venue's enquiry form, and venue tours can be booked.
