Greystone Estate is a 10-acre private property at 617 Hermitage Road, Pokolbin, owned by Tony and Melissa Calder-Mason. It is hired on an exclusive basis, so only one group is ever on the estate, and it is set up for celebrations that run over a few days: a welcome dinner, the main event, then a slow recovery day by the pool. Fifteen king suites across several residences, including the restored heritage Gow House, sleep up to 32 guests. The estate's event spaces seat up to 125 guests or hold 150 for a cocktail party, with weather-proof options indoors and a mix of outdoor settings, including a pergola-covered dining courtyard, landscaped gardens, a large verandah, a pond and the pool beside the main house. Corporate groups use the indoor rooms and lawns for workshops, conferences, gala dinners and company celebrations, and there are communal spaces with televisions that take an HDMI connection. Wi-Fi covers the property, the estate is accessible apart from the upstairs areas of the cottages, and there are 50 car spaces. All food is cooked by the in-house chef; outside caterers are not allowed. In-house menus for groups of 25 or more start at $85 per person for eight cold and hot canapés, with a barbecue at $120 per person and shared or alternate-drop dinners at $140 per person, all including set-up, wait staff and clean-up. The Beer and Wine package runs five hours for $90 per person, with cocktail hours, champagne towers, espresso martini rounds and a spirit bar as add-ons. Groups of 32 or fewer on a corporate retreat may bring their own alcohol; larger events use the estate's beverage packages. The events team runs private tours of the property by appointment.
