About The Valley Events Centre
The Valley Events Centre is the function building at Glenworth Valley, a wilderness property on Cooks Road set across roughly 3,000 acres of bushland and paddocks. The property is best known for its horse riding and outdoor adventures, and the events centre gives groups a proper indoor base to work, dine and celebrate in alongside them. It hosts conferences, product launches, staff retreats, work Christmas parties and wedding receptions. The building has two main rooms. Upstairs, the Wilderness Room measures about 24 by 8 metres and takes from 10 to 250 guests, with an expansive balcony looking over the valley; it can also be divided into two halves for smaller groups. Downstairs, the Rainforest Room is roughly 24 by 11 metres and holds from 10 to more than 500, with floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors that open onto a lawn. Finishes include polished concrete floors, handcrafted blackbutt tables and a statement fireplace. A marquee can be added on the grass for larger events, and the whole centre can be booked exclusively. Catering ranges from plated fine dining with table service to buffets, conference menus, canapés on the balcony, and casual barbecues or grazing platters for smaller groups, with vegan, vegetarian and halal options. Couples with their own caterer can ask about dry hire. Groups can add activities the property runs, including horse riding, quad biking, kayaking, abseiling, axe throwing and team challenges, and guests can stay over in glamping tents or eco-villas. How many guests can the events centre take?
The Rainforest Room downstairs holds from 10 to more than 500 guests, and the Wilderness Room upstairs takes 10 to 250. Wedding receptions are offered for 30 to 330 guests.
Can we hold a work Christmas party here?
Yes. Medium and large groups of 30 to over 500 can use the fully equipped function space with catered food and drinks, and smaller teams can combine an outdoor activity with a barbecue or picnic.
