About Chapel Ridge
Chapel Ridge is a family-owned wedding venue on George Downes Drive at Kulnura, built for the purpose on 200 private acres of cattle country ringed by native eucalypts. It hosts a single wedding at a time, with no tourists or shared areas, so the couple and their guests have the run of the property for the day. Ceremonies take place in a sandstone chapel set high on a ridge, its 17-metre glass window framing the view behind the couple. Receptions of up to 120 guests can be held in the purpose-built pavilion, on the wisteria-covered terrace, or across both. A rustic bar keeps everyone together between ceremony and reception, and the gardens include an Alice in Wonderland themed hedge maze, giant chess and lawn games. Every space is undercover and air-conditioned, there are three fire pits and two indoor fireplaces kept stoked by staff, and a permanent generator sits on site as a backup. A five-bedroom farmhouse nearby gives the couple and family somewhere to get ready. The venue is licensed and offers its own all-inclusive beverage packages, while catering is arranged with local caterers the team can recommend. Each booking includes wedding planning support, access to an online planning hub and an on-the-day coordinator, with extra staff to help guests and park cars. Coaches can reach the property, parking is plentiful, there are nine bathrooms plus a private bridal bathroom, and the council curfew is 10.30pm. Prices are given on enquiry.
