About The Springs
The Springs sits on Peats Ridge Road in Peats Ridge, a rural property in the hinterland that combines an 18-hole, par-72 championship golf course, the Sitting Duck Restaurant and a dedicated events operation. Everything happens on the one site, with lawns, the restaurant, private dining and parking for about 140 cars, so guests arrive once and stay put. The main function space is the ballroom, built from the bones of the original clubhouse: exposed timber beams, sandstone walls, a cathedral ceiling hung with festoon lights and big windows on three sides looking out over the course. It seats 180, holds 200 theatre-style and takes 250 for a standing event. For smaller groups there is a private dining room that seats 40 or holds 60 standing, and the ceremony lawn under a century-old pepper tree fits 150 seated or 200 standing, with a covered terrace as the wet-weather fallback. The events team runs milestone birthdays such as 30ths, 40ths, 50ths and 60ths with tailored menus and a private room, end-of-year Christmas parties with live music, gala dinners and presentation nights, conferences, golf days that mix a working session with nine or 18 holes, and long-table private lunches. Weddings are a big part of the calendar: the package covers exclusive use of the ballroom, the lawn ceremony, canapés and catering, a coordinator, furniture and linen, and golf-cart access to the course for sunset photos. All food comes from the Sitting Duck kitchen, and pricing is quoted per event once the team knows your date, numbers and style.
