About Paradise Botanical Gardens

Paradise Botanical Gardens is a private garden estate on Cherry Lane in Kulnura, spread over 230 acres in the Central Coast hinterland. The grounds sit about 370 metres above sea level, and visitors are admitted by appointment only. Rather than a single function room, the estate offers a series of outdoor settings. The Kings Garden sits at the centre of the grounds and frames a ceremony with clipped beds and greenery, while Wisteria Lane is a long covered walk that flowers in early spring. The lawn beside the lake can take a ceremony, a marquee reception and guests camping overnight. The Roman Columns are a row of brick pillars used for both vows and long-table dinners, and a sheltered pavilion hidden in the trees is reached over a small bridge. Weddings are the main focus. Couples can use the gardens for the ceremony, for photos, for the reception or for the whole day, with evening receptions held in a garden marquee, and the Great Wall and Monet Bridge are further spots for vows. The events team also runs private and corporate functions. Conferences and team-building days, end-of-financial-year and Christmas parties or picnics, product launches, birthday celebrations, family reunions and special-interest group days are all on offer. A farm stay cottage on the property provides accommodation for guests. Packages and venue viewings are arranged with the events team, so send an enquiry to check dates or book a visit.

Went to a wedding here and was shocked to find there were no lights to guide guests back to the main grass area, house, or car park. It felt extremely unsafe, especially for families with young children or elderly guests…
