About Mangrove Mountain Memorial Club
Mangrove Mountain Memorial Club is a community and golf club on Hallards Road in Central Mangrove, up in the Central Coast hinterland. Its roots go back to the local RSL sub-branch founded in 1919, and today the clubhouse sits beside a nine-hole course with its own Waratah Dining restaurant, a bar and a FootGolf course. The club hires its event spaces to non-members as well as members. There are two rooms to choose from. The Anzac Function Room is the larger one, seating around 100 guests, or 90 once a dance floor goes in, and fitting 150 for a stand-up cocktail party. In the warmer months, guests can spill out onto the outdoor terrace, which adds space and looks out over the fairways and the ranges beyond. For a smaller crowd, the fully enclosed balcony works all year round and holds up to 60 seated or 80 standing, with the same outlook. On clear days the club says you can make out the ocean from the clubhouse. The club suits birthdays, engagements, anniversaries, Christmas parties, hen nights and corporate golf days. Food comes from the club kitchen, which publishes a platter menu covering options such as seafood, antipasto, vegetarian, sandwich and wrap, wing and cake platters, and the team can tailor a package to your event. Bar facilities in the Anzac Room are an additional cost. Bookings are handled by the club office on weekdays, by phone or email.
