About Wyong Milk Factory Tavern

The Wyong Milk Factory Tavern trades inside the old Wyong Milk Factory on Alison Road, a dairy site that opened in 1907 and was rebuilt as a bottling plant after a fire in 1921. The restored complex beside the Wyong River now holds a cafe, shops and the tavern, which serves pub meals and is where most of the site's events and functions take place. There are five areas to choose from. The beer garden is a covered, light-filled terrace with a bar, a stage and room for a dance floor, seating 150 or holding 200 standing. On the second level, reached by stairs or a lift, the DO Room has its own bar, terrace and dance floor for 60 seated or 100 standing. The Dome Tent is a covered outdoor space beside the tavern for 100 seated or 120 standing, opening onto the terrace and dance floor it shares with the beer garden, and it suits bands and DJs. For small groups, the Cow Bar seats 20. Hosts can pre-order from the tavern's catering packages, or let guests buy their own meals and drinks from the restaurant on the day. The beer garden can also be used without hire by reserving tables, though the space is then shared with diners. Functions are booked through the enquiry form on the tavern's functions page, which asks for the date, guest numbers and the age being celebrated for birthdays.
