About Avoca Beach House
Avoca Beach House is a seafood restaurant and cocktail bar on Avoca Drive, a few steps from the sand at Avoca Beach. The room is bright and open, with timber tables, big windows and a 180-degree outlook over the surf, and a terrace runs along the beach side. It opens for lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Sunday, and the functions team also looks at bookings outside normal trading hours. Groups of 11 to 80 can book the indoor dining room and terrace together, set up for a seated multi-course meal or a cocktail-style gathering. For a bigger or more private occasion the whole restaurant can be hired exclusively, which takes up to 80 seated or 120 standing. The venue hosts milestone birthdays, engagement parties, hens celebrations, bridal showers, business breakfasts, office parties and weddings, and wedding hire is offered for part or all of a day. Food centres on Australian seafood, meat and local produce. Groups choose from shared tapas, available at lunch, or two- and three-course set menus with alternate-drop mains, and the chef can build a custom menu on request. Dietary needs are catered for when you book, and you can bring your own cake for a small cake-age fee. Drinks come from the fully licensed bar, with no BYO, and can go on the main bill or on a separate drinks tab. Table decorations and balloons are welcome, though glitter and confetti are not.
