About Glasshouse @ Boat O'Craigo
Boat O'Craigo is a second-generation, family-run winery on the Maroondah Highway in Healesville, below the Black Spur. Its cellar door and restaurant sit in a modern building looking over the vineyard towards Mt Riddell. Glasshouse is the estate's main event room. Glass runs from floor to ceiling on the view side, with black steel doors, a stone fireplace and a bar finished in pink marble. The room holds up to 150 guests at walnut timber tables, and corporate groups from 20 to 150 can choose their own seating layout. Bi-fold doors open onto the covered Deck, which has louvres, fans, heaters and drop-down blinds for pre-dinner drinks. For weddings, couples marry in The Pavilion, an open-air garden structure seating 56, then move to the Deck for canapés and into Glasshouse for the reception. Food comes from Locavore Catering in share-style or plated menus, matched with the estate's own wines. Private lunches in Glasshouse are taken exclusively on weekdays, while the whole estate can be booked on any day of the week for an evening event from 6 pm to 10 pm. A surround sound system and roaming microphones handle speeches and presentations. Bucks parties and similar events are not accepted.
