About Pepe's Garden
Pepe's Garden is a flower studio on Keira Street in the centre of Wollongong. Owner Anita has been working as a florist since 2009 and opened the shop in 2015, and she now runs it with a small team that includes Maddi and Gabbi. Alongside its everyday shop, the studio puts most of its creative energy into wedding, event and corporate floristry across the Illawarra. The house style leans towards movement, contrast and slightly undone textures, but the team is just as comfortable with classic white, soft pastels, something blue or bold, bright colour. Past work includes towering floor arrangements framing a ceremony, gold frames wrapped in blooms, sculptural pieces on fluted plinths, bud vases and candles running down long reception tables, and full bridal party bouquets and buttonholes. Event work has included bridal showers and christenings as well as weddings at local galleries, estates and coastal venues. Planning starts with the wedding or event enquiry form, where you describe your vision, colours and mood. The studio replies with a tailored proposal and access to a client portal, where a planning meeting can be booked. Once the contract is signed and the deposit is paid, you receive a mood board and floral recipe for the day. On the day itself, the team makes, delivers and styles everything so you can enjoy the celebration. Around 80 per cent of the flowers used are grown in Australia, with the rest imported for the tropical varieties that need hothouse conditions. Businesses can also arrange weekly or fortnightly workplace flowers designed around their space and budget.

How quickly will Pepe's Garden reply to a wedding enquiry?
The team aims to answer event enquiries within five business days. Busy-season dates and weddings over twelve months out can take longer, as enquiries are worked through in order of event date. A message on Instagram can help move things along.
When do I receive my mood board?
Your floral mood board and recipe are sent once the contract has been signed and the deposit paid.
What kinds of events does the studio do besides weddings?
Pepe's Garden has styled flowers for bridal showers and christenings, and offers weekly or fortnightly corporate flowers for workplaces, with minimums applying to the fortnightly option.
Do you set up the flowers on the day?
Yes. The team creates the arrangements, delivers them and styles them at the venue, so you do not need to handle the flowers yourself.
Where do the flowers come from?
About 80 per cent are grown in Australia, including Tasmania and country Victoria, and the rest are imported for tropical varieties. Stems are chosen by season and sourced locally where possible.
