Untied is a rooftop bar on level four of Exchange Place, 400 Barangaroo Avenue, reached by a green stairwell on the outside of the building. It takes a modern Australian angle, with tropical cocktails, share plates and a fit-out of marble, lush planting and brightly coloured furniture, plus harbour views across the precinct. Wynyard station and the Barangaroo ferry wharf are both a short walk away. The whole rooftop can be hired exclusively for up to 270 guests, and concertina glass doors open the indoor bar onto the outdoor areas so guests move freely between them. For smaller groups, the North Courtyard is an open-air space for 100, or two sections of 60 and 40; the South Courtyard takes 50 around its maple tree; and the Inside Bar and Dining area holds 90 standing, with the Inside Dining section alone suiting 50 standing or 27 seated. Styling changes through the year with seasonal themes, so the look may differ from the photos. Canapé packages are $48, $58 and $73 per person for six, eight and ten pieces, minimum 20 guests, with grazing stations for cheese and charcuterie, tacos or oysters ($30 to $37 per person) and a dessert station at $22. Drinks packages start at $48 per person for two hours, and a bar tab with a set limit and chosen drinks can be arranged instead. The team can book photo booths, 360 video booths and photographers, organise extra AV and arrange a door host or security at $55 per hour.
