About Rooftop @ Burdekin Hotel
The Burdekin Rooftop opened in late 2020 on the fourth floor of the Burdekin Hotel, and it remains the only fully open rooftop bar on the Oxford Street strip. The views run 270 degrees across Darlinghurst and the city, and the design is casual and relaxed rather than polished, which suits the street it sits on. Drinks are the draw, with a seasonal cocktail menu from the venue's own bar, and catering comes from the hotel kitchen with an American-leaning menu. There's a PA system for music, Wi-Fi, and plenty of natural light through the afternoon. Being genuinely open-air, it's at its best from spring through to autumn. The rooftop holds up to 100 guests standing or 85 seated, and it's a short walk from Museum Station, in the middle of Sydney's late-night precinct.

Burdekin was great. The men in the dresses were very good at all they did. However, my main contemplation is how I can live in this isolated shag pad across the road. How do we get there there?
