About Rooftop @ Burdekin Hotel
Since opening on the fourth floor in late 2020, the Burdekin Rooftop has been the one bar along Oxford Street that's fully open to the sky. From up there the view sweeps 270 degrees over the city and Darlinghurst, and the fit-out is laid-back rather than slick, in keeping with the street below. Drinks lead the way, with a seasonal cocktail list from the rooftop's own bar, while food comes from the hotel kitchen and leans American. A PA handles music, there's Wi-Fi, and the afternoon light is generous. Because it really is open-air, spring to autumn is the time to book. Up to 100 guests can stand, or 85 sit, and Museum Station is a few minutes' walk away, right in Sydney's late-night precinct.
