About The Welcome Hotel
The Welcome Hotel is a neighbourhood pub at 91 Evans Street in Rozelle. The kitchen describes its style as elevated pub dining, cooking everything from scratch with local produce: steak frites, burgers, schnitzels and Sunday roasts sit alongside steak tartare, cheeses and house-made pasta specials. The bar runs twelve taps, eight of them kept for independent Australian craft beer and cider, including White Bay Beer Co from just down the road, plus a list of local and imported wines. For functions, the pub takes groups of 10 to 100 across its indoor and outdoor dining areas. It hosts social and corporate functions, Christmas parties, wine dinners and beer degustations. A function coordinator works with you on the plan beforehand, and the venue team looks after your guests on the night. Function food comes from Head Chef Jamie Ayling, whose menus draw on modern Australian flavours and seasonal produce and are built for sharing. There is a canapé menu and a group dining menu. Your menu, food options and wine selection need to be locked in seven days before the event, and dietary requirements can be catered for with details given at least a week ahead.
