About Bellevue Cottage
Bellevue Cottage is a modern French restaurant in a heritage-listed house dating from 1896, at 55 Leichhardt Street in Glebe. The cottage sits on the edge of Blackwattle Bay, looking across the water to the Anzac Bridge and the city skyline, and a wharf at its doorstep means guests can arrive by ferry or private boat. Chef Antoine Moscovitz, who trained in Paris, leads the kitchen. Exclusive hire gives you the entire cottage: the Main Dining Room with its textured walls and Victorian ceilings, the Bay-view Room and its connected verandah, the smaller Park-side Room, plus the outdoor terrace and garden. The whole venue seats up to 66 or holds up to 120 for a standing canapé event. For smaller groups the rooms can be booked on their own, from 16 seated in the Park-side Room to 30 in the Main Dining Room and 38 across the Bay-view Room and verandah. Food and drink run on celebration packages. Dining packages combine canapés, sparkling on arrival and three or four courses with three or four hours of bottomless wine, beer and soft drinks, while canapé packages offer six, ten or twelve varieties with the same drinks options. Menus can be adjusted for budget and dietary needs, a children's menu is available, and the team can host events outside normal trading hours by arrangement. Weddings, milestone birthdays, engagements, christenings and corporate events are all catered for.

What is the minimum spend for exclusive use?
The event brochure lists a minimum spend of $11,000 from Monday to Thursday and on Friday daytime, and $16,500 on Friday nights and across the weekend.
Is there a venue hire fee?
The brochure lists a $5,500 fee for the entire venue, which is waived on the three or four hour celebration packages when the whole venue is booked and the minimum spend is met. A 10% event service charge applies to event bookings.
Can dietary requirements be catered for?
Yes. Menus include vegetarian dishes, vegan options are available on request, and the team will tailor packages to dietary needs.
