About The Hall @ The Diddy
The Diddy is the everyday name for the Longueville Sporting Club, a community club founded in 1938 on Longueville Road in Longueville, on Sydney's lower north shore. Once a traditional bowls club, it now uses its greens for all sorts of social activities and runs a beer garden, a bistro and live music on weekends, with Lusso Kitchen cooking pub classics alongside Italian and Thai dishes. The Hall is the club's indoor function room, set inside the clubhouse. It takes up to 80 guests for a cocktail party, 65 seated or 70 theatre style, and the team rearranges it to your chosen layout as part of the booking. A projector with a drop-down screen, TV screens, a microphone and speakers are all included, and bar staff serve the room directly through a shuttered opening, so the party never has to leave. Like the club's other private areas it is weatherproof and heated for cooler months. The hire fee is $200 and there is no minimum spend. Catering is handled by Lusso Kitchen and outside food is not allowed, apart from cakes and sweets, which come in free of charge. Packages include a grazing board with pizzas at $35 a head for at least 25 guests, platters of six small bites at $40 a head, a sporting-style finger food spread at $36 a head, and classic or premium buffets at $60 or $80 a head for 40 or more, which are served only in the Hall. Food must be ordered at least seven days ahead, or guests can simply order their own. A bar tab can be opened on the day using a name, tab number or wristbands. Decorations are welcome, though confetti and glitter are not.

A very good place for food ad drink. Plenty of indoor and outside seating. They have big TV screens for watching sporting events. A very kid friendly place with lots of space for them to run and kick a ball etc.
