About Basement Area @ Hideout Bar
Hideout Bar is a two-level cocktail bar on a quiet laneway in Neutral Bay. Upstairs is the main bar, which runs a menu of more than 50 cocktails. Downstairs is the Basement Area, the private function level, styled with teal feature walls, hanging greenery, lounges, booths and chairs, and set up to switch between a relaxed lounge and a full party. The basement suits DJ sets and live bands, and it hosts engagements, hens and bucks nights, 21sts and Christmas parties. There's a projector, a flatscreen TV and a PA system, and you can play your own music or bring a DJ. The venue is air-conditioned, with step-free access, a lift and accessible toilets, and there's free parking nearby. The space holds around 60 guests. The minimum spend starts at just $300, one of the lowest entry points for a private cocktail-bar space on the North Shore.
