About The Annandale Hotel
The Annandale Hotel sits at 17 Parramatta Road in Annandale, a historic inner west pub that has been refurbished and is run by a family with no poker machines on the floor. It trades as a traditional front bar with indoor and outdoor dining, a pool table, a retro arcade room, weekly trivia and live sport, and it also has 14 rooms upstairs for guests who want to stay over. There are four areas to choose from for a function. The indoor bar area covers about 290 square metres and holds up to 200 people. The outdoor area is roughly 84 square metres and takes up to 120. The Stage is a smaller 56 square metre corner for about 30, and the private function room, around 180 square metres, suits up to 70 and has no minimum spend. The bar and outdoor areas carry a minimum spend that the team quotes on enquiry, and the restaurant seating is kept separate from both. Food is built around a canapé list of hot and cold items, from haloumi chips and Sydney rock oysters to cheeseburger sliders, sausage rolls and fried chicken wings. Three pieces cost $15 per person, five cost $25 and seven cost $35, for groups of 20 or more, and a grazing platter of cured meats, cheese, olives, dips and sourdough is $20 per person for at least 10. Sit-down options can also be arranged. The two-hour beverage package is $45 per person and covers house wines, sparkling, rosé, Tooheys New, Young Henry's beer and cider, a mid-strength and soft drinks. Canapé orders need to be in a week before the date.
