About Summer Hill Hotel
The Summer Hill Hotel sits at 1 Lackey Street, alongside Summer Hill Station, and has been the suburb's local since 1967. Inside there is a family bistro serving lunch and dinner seven days, a sports bar with lounge seating and large screens for live sport, and a bar pouring plenty of beer on tap along with Australian and imported wines. Three areas of the pub can be booked for functions, and none of them attracts a hire charge. Two are inside the bistro, where the Bistro Area takes up to 80 guests for a stand-up cocktail party and also suits a buffet or a slightly more formal gathering. The third is the balcony, a big space for larger groups that catches the sunset in the warmer months and stays comfortable in winter with the heaters running. Functions are run either cocktail style or as a buffet, and the pub hosts informal birthday celebrations, engagements, company get-togethers and school fundraisers. The bistro menu covers light and healthy meals, pub classics and vegetarian and vegan dishes, and the staff will work through food and drinks with you when you enquire. Late trading helps too: the pub stays open until 4am Monday to Saturday and midnight on Sunday, so there is no rush to wrap up after the function.

Some of the best pub food you can find. Compared to a lot of pubs where the food is mediocre, everything here is amazing! Recommend the Calamari, Caesar salad, Parmigiana and Risotto.
