About Sealevel
Sealevel is a family-run restaurant at 2 Kingsway, Cronulla, looking straight over North Cronulla Beach. The Allouche family opened it in 1997, and head chef Nathan Allouche writes a modern Australian menu with French and Italian touches and a strong lean towards seafood, changing it every fortnight. The building is round, and the dining room curves through three connected areas so the ocean is in view from each table. Big windows, white-clothed tables and a sleek bar make it suited to formal dinners as much as cocktail receptions. For a private event the whole restaurant is hired: a seated event takes up to 110 guests and a cocktail event up to 180. Smaller groups of up to 36 can book on the set menus during normal service. Seated packages cost $140 per person and include canapés on arrival, a three-course alternate-drop menu, tea and coffee, venue hire and staff. Cocktail packages are $100 per person for eight canapés plus tea, coffee, hire and staff. On top of the package there is a minimum spend for exclusive use, from $20,000 on Sunday nights to $28,000 for Sunday lunch, and midweek figures are given on request. Four-hour beverage packages cost $85 or $100 per person. A $1,000 deposit secures the date, and final numbers and full payment on the estimate are due two weeks before.

What is the minimum spend for exclusive hire?
Published minimums are $25,000 for Friday dinner, $26,000 for Saturday lunch or dinner, $28,000 for Sunday lunch and $20,000 for Sunday dinner. Weekday minimums are on request, and the restaurant says it may be flexible in quieter periods.
What do the event packages include?
The $140 per person seated package covers arrival canapés, a three-course alternate-drop meal, tea and coffee, venue hire and staffing. The $100 per person cocktail package includes a choice of eight canapés, tea and coffee, hire and staffing.
Can we book a group without hiring the whole restaurant?
Yes. Groups of up to 36 can book directly by phone. Weekend groups of ten or more use the group set menu, listed at $80 for two courses or $95 for three.
What deposit is required?
A $1,000 deposit confirms the booking. Final guest numbers are due two weeks before the event, along with full payment of the estimated bill, and cancellation fees rise as the date gets closer.
