About Club Kirrawee
Club Kirrawee is a bowling and recreation club on Oak Road in Kirrawee, established in 1950 and within easy walking distance of both Kirrawee Station and the South Village shops. Besides bowls and the Club Grill, it hires out its rooms for birthdays, engagements, baby showers, work functions and presentation nights, with on-site parking and air conditioning throughout. The main function space is the Main Auditorium, a large hall with a dance floor and a stage that works for 50 to 200 guests, whether you want a formal dinner or a relaxed party. For smaller groups, the Mezzanine takes up to 70 people and looks out over the bowling green, and there is an outdoor mezzanine area alongside it. The club suggests the Mezzanine for baby showers, gender reveals and smaller birthdays. Note that the club does not host 18th birthday parties. Food comes from the club's own kitchen, with separate buffet, finger food, set menu and celebration of life menus, running from casual platters to a full three-course meal; outside food isn't allowed apart from an occasion cake, and guests can't bring their own alcohol. Bookings run for up to five hours. A $200 deposit holds a tentative date and must be paid within seven days of enquiring, a $300 bond applies to every function, and 21st birthdays or events the manager deems to need it carry a $300 security charge. Full payment is due 14 days out, with final numbers seven days before. Glitter, confetti and table scatters are not permitted.
