About The Lakehouse
The Lakehouse is a purpose-built event venue on the edge of Redbank Lake in North Richmond, in the Hawkesbury. It sits on the site of a former dairy farm and is hired out to one group at a time, so the room, bar and terrace are all yours on the day. Inside, the single event room has high ceilings with Tasmanian oak rafters, Victorian ash timber battens, white walls and Mount White sandstone accents. Big windows frame the lake, so the space needs very little styling, though it works as a blank canvas if you want to bring in a stylist. The room seats up to 120 guests and holds up to 180 for a standing event, with round, long and cocktail table layouts set up before you arrive. Doors open onto a private outdoor terrace and front balcony overlooking the water, and there is room for a dance floor. Food comes from the venue's own catering team, with canapé, buffet, shared and alternate-drop plated packages, a high tea option and grazing platters. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free guests are catered for. The in-built bar runs free-flowing drinks packages, a bar tab with a budget you set, or drinks charged on consumption. Furniture, linen, crockery, glassware and staff are included, along with an in-ceiling sound system that covers the room and terrace and a three-metre motorised projector screen. There is no venue hire fee; instead a minimum spend on food and drinks applies, starting at $3,000 for a weekday daytime event. Canapé packages run from $54 to $79 per person, buffets from $43 per person, plated menus from $76 per person and shared menus from $87 per person. A $1,100 non-refundable deposit secures the date.

There are also two-course and three-course plated menus served alternate drop, shared dining menus, two buffet packages, a high tea package and grazing platters. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and other dietary needs are accommodated.

How many guests can The Lakehouse hold?
The room seats up to 120 guests for a sit-down event and takes up to 180 for a standing or cocktail party. The team can configure the tables so a smaller group still feels comfortable.
Is there a venue hire fee?
No. Instead you reach a minimum spend on food and drinks, which starts at $3,000 for Monday to Friday daytime events (7am to 5pm). Evening minimums from 5pm to 11pm are $5,000 on Fridays, $7,500 on Saturdays and $8,000 on Sundays, and Saturday daytime is $5,000 while Sunday daytime is $4,000.
What food packages are available?
Canapé packages start at $54 per person, buffets at $43 per person, two-course plated menus at $76 per person and shared feasts at $87 per person. A high tea package and grazing platters are also offered, and dietary requirements are catered for.
How do drinks work?
You can choose a house, premium or non-alcoholic drinks package for four or five hours, set up a bar tab with your own budget, or have guests buy from the in-built bar on consumption. House packages start at $52 per person for four hours.
Do we get the whole venue?
Yes. Every booking has exclusive use of the indoor room, the outdoor terrace and the balcony overlooking Redbank Lake. Access on the day starts from 7am, with tables and chairs already set so you can add your own styling.
