About Rocker
Rocker is a restaurant and bar at the northern end of Campbell Parade in North Bondi, a short walk up the hill from the beach. It cooks seasonal, share-style food with coastal and European leanings, keeps a list of cocktails and natural wine, and plays music by a rotating line-up of local DJs. Artwork by Bondi artist Jakey Pedro covers the walls, including a large mural in the bar. The venue splits into parts you can book separately or together. The restaurant is a bright, leafy room that seats 50 or holds 60 standing, and suits a sit-down dinner with the full menu. A few steps down, the bar works best for cocktails and canapés, with room for 50 standing or 30 along one long table. Take the whole place and the outdoor terrace comes with it, seating another 20 with a view over Bondi Beach, for a total of up to 124 people. Smaller groups of up to 30 can simply book online. For groups the kitchen runs the Feed Me share menu at $89 per person, and larger events of 30 or more are given set menus, canapé packages and drinks packages built for the day, with an events manager looking after the planning. Standing, seated or mixed formats are all possible. Exclusive bookings are held with a card pre-authorisation of $500 for half the venue or $1,000 for the whole venue, and a minimum spend applies when part of the restaurant is booked exclusively. Outside catering and drinks are not allowed, apart from kosher meals, and cakes brought in attract a $5 per person fee.

How many people can Rocker hold for a private event?
The whole venue, including the outdoor terrace, takes up to 124 guests. The restaurant alone seats 50 or holds 60 standing, and the bar holds 50 standing or 30 seated at a long table.
Can we book just the bar or just the restaurant?
Yes. The restaurant and the bar can each be booked on their own, or you can take the whole venue. Booking part of the restaurant exclusively carries a minimum spend set for your date.
What food is available for groups?
Groups can order the Feed Me share menu at $89 per person or à la carte. For 30 or more guests the team puts together set menus, canapé packages and drinks packages to suit the event.
How is an exclusive booking secured?
Your card is pre-authorised with a $500 holding fee for half the venue or $1,000 for the full venue. Final numbers are due a week before the event, and cancelling with under 7 days' notice forfeits the full deposit.
Can we bring our own cake or catering?
Cakes are welcome with prior notice and a $5 per person cakeage fee for large parties. Outside food and drinks are not permitted, except kosher meals.
