Oliveto is an Italian restaurant and bar inside Brays Bay Reserve at 443 Concord Road, Rhodes, about ten minutes' drive from Sydney Olympic Park. Floor-to-ceiling glass wraps the dining room, so tables look straight out across the bay and the surrounding lawns, and there are more than 80 parking spaces on site. The kitchen makes its bread, pasta and desserts in-house, and the bar pours Italian and Australian wines alongside house cocktails. For a large party the whole venue can be set for up to 180 seated or 350 standing, with oak floors, air conditioning, room for a dance floor and a terrace facing the water where guests can mingle. White linen, event glassware and crockery are supplied. Smaller groups can take the private dining room, which seats 12 to 24 behind timber and glass doors, has its own outdoor terrace and comes with a dedicated waiter. That room carries a $2,500 minimum spend with no hire fee and is offered for lunch or dinner from Tuesday through Saturday. Function menus are shared or alternate-serve Italian set menus: platters of cured meats, calamari and pasta from $75 per person for two courses, rising through $85 and $95 options to a three-course platter feast at $135, with dessert an extra $15 per person. Drinks run as a three-hour standard package at $40 per person or premium at $50, or on a bar tab. Celebration cakes can be ordered from the kitchen. A deposit of $20 per person secures the date, a 10% service charge is added to group bills, and a functions coordinator helps with planning from Tuesday to Saturday.
