About Mosman Rowers
Mosman Rowers is a rowing club that has stood on Mosman Bay since 1911, at 3 Centenary Drive in Mosman. The clubhouse runs a café on the lower level and a heritage bar on the entry level, and it hires out its rooms for private events, from breakfasts and conferences to cocktail parties, corporate dinners, engagements, birthdays and product launches. Like any registered club, everyone signs in on arrival. There are three spaces over three levels. The Rowers Café is the largest: a light-filled room with its own balcony over the bay, taking 110 seated or 180 for cocktails when booked exclusively, or sections for around 60 standing. The Rowers Bar keeps the old clubhouse character, with its own bar, a balcony and harbour outlook, and suits about 30 seated or 60 standing in a partial booking. Up top, the Gallery is fully private, with a leafy outlook and its own balcony, for 45 seated or 80 standing. The events team puts together catering and beverage packages to suit each booking, with canapés and seated menus the usual choices. Smaller groups of up to 30 can reserve share-style group dining instead and pay by cash bar, a tab or a drinks package. Anything over 30 needs exclusive hire of a space, and minimum spends apply. Weddings are also hosted, with ceremony spots along the foreshore a short walk away.

Is there a minimum spend?
Groups of 31 or more need exclusive hire of a space, and minimum spends apply. The club quotes these on enquiry rather than publishing them.
Can we book without hiring a room?
Yes. Group dining is available for 4 to 30 guests through normal reservations, with a share-style menu for 15 or more. A $10 per person card pre-authorisation holds bookings of 10 or more and is only charged for late cancellations or no-shows.
How do drinks work for groups?
You can run a cash bar, set up a tab or choose one of the club's beverage packages. Outside alcohol is not allowed on the premises.
Do you need to be a member to hold an event?
No membership requirement is stated for function hire. As a registered club, all members and guests sign in at the door, and dogs are welcome in the outdoor areas on a lead.
