About Manly Pavilion
Manly Pavilion is a heritage-listed building on West Esplanade, sitting over the water with open views across Manly Cove towards Sydney Harbour. It is run by The Boathouse Group as a bar and bistro upstairs and an event space downstairs, with a kitchen that leans on Mediterranean coastal cooking and a bar known for its cocktail list. The bistro trades from midday on weekdays and 11.30am on weekends. The venue splits into several spaces. The Cove, on the lower level, has a large foyer, an outdoor courtyard and a big indoor room, and holds 200 for a seated dinner with room to dance or 300 for a cocktail event. Upstairs, the restaurant and terrace bar can be booked semi-exclusively or exclusively for corporate events and private parties, and a private dining room seats up to 20. Bistro group tables take up to 30 guests, while terrace tables are kept for walk-ins. Smaller groups book a set menu: $90 per person for eight or more, served to share, with drinks charged separately and a 10% gratuity on the bill. Dietary needs are catered for, and all meat except pork is halal certified, though preparation is not. The events team handles weddings, engagements, hens parties, baby showers, birthdays and conferences, working out a floor plan and table layout with you. You can bring a cake for a $4 per person cakeage fee.
