Maldini's By The River sits on the bank of the Nepean River at Tench Avenue in Jamisontown, a short hop from Penrith. Named after the Italian footballer Paolo Maldini, it serves breakfast, lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Sunday, with a menu of Italian dishes, stone-cooked pizzas and a bar pouring beer on tap, more than 50 wines and cocktails. The restaurant takes functions for 10 to 200 guests. The main dining room holds 150, a private room seats 22, a semi-private section takes 36 and a covered alfresco area fits 60, so a group can have a corner of the restaurant or much more of it.
