About Lakeside Restaurant
Lakeside Restaurant sits inside the Sydney International Regatta Centre on Old Castlereagh Road, the Olympic rowing venue at Penrith Lakes, with the mountains behind it. It has run as a restaurant, function and events centre for more than 20 years under owner Vince Capolupo, cooking Italian food from produce bought from local suppliers. The restaurant has two function spaces that can be set up for a small dinner or a large banquet, and functions can be held on any day of the week. For weddings the outdoor entertaining area can be dressed as a ceremony space and the dining room turned into the reception. The venue lists birthday parties, baby showers, family reunions, conferences and corporate days among the events it hosts, and for business events it has projector screens, a microphone, a lectern, a whiteboard, wifi and help with the tech. Function menus come in several styles: grazing plates, cocktail menus, a buffet table, set menus, remembrance packages and high tea. Each can be adjusted for dietary needs or rebuilt from scratch if the standard options don't fit. An events coordinator meets clients by appointment to go through the plan. Prices aren't published, so call the restaurant or use the contact form to ask for the current packages. Parking on site is free, and the team can arrange transfers for guests staying in nearby hotels.
