About Hugos Manly
Hugos Manly sits on Manly Wharf at Shop 1, East Esplanade, only steps from the Manly ferry, and has traded on the wharf since 2009. The restaurant opens seven days for lunch and dinner, and its bar and deck look straight over Manly Cove to the beach and the harbour, so sunset tables are the ones most people ask for. Bookings of up to 20 guests can be made online, while groups of 21 to 50 go through the functions team. For a bigger party the whole venue is available for exclusive hire, taking up to 150 guests across the indoor dining room, the bar and the covered deck on the water. Groups of ten or more are seated together and served one set menu, chosen when you book, with courses brought out to share or served alternately. There are three set menus. The $90 per person option starts with tasting plates and moves on to shared pizzas, sides and dessert. At $120 per person you get a tasting plate followed by a main and dessert, and the $140 per person menu swaps in a seafood plate with oysters, kingfish and king prawns before mains. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free choices are built in. Groups of 20 or more can add a three-hour drinks package covering sparkling, wine, beer, cider and soft drinks, at $100 per person for the standard list or $130 per person for the premium one.
