About Garçon Lane Cove
Garçon Lane Cove is a French bistro at Shop 5, The Canopy, 2 Rosenthal Avenue, in the Lane Cove village dining precinct. It opens for breakfast and lunch every day and stays open for dinner from Thursday to Saturday, with a menu of French classics and Australian brunch staples plus a long wine and spritz list. The room is styled in pink and gold, with marble tables, bistro chairs, floral arches and a ceiling hung with greenery, and there is an alfresco dining area outside. It hosts birthdays, hens parties, baby showers, Christmas and end-of-year parties and corporate events, either as a stand-up cocktail party or a seated meal, and a resident functions coordinator builds the package around the group. The whole venue can be booked for an exclusive event, with a minimum spend quoted on enquiry. Packages are priced per person. Canapés are $36 for seven choices or $48 for nine, from chicken liver parfait on brioche and salmon sashimi to lamb pies and raclette croquettes. The set lunch is $55 and the set dinner $61, with shared starters and alternate-drop mains and desserts, and a bottomless brunch runs at $69. A two-hour beverage package of sparkling, red, rosé and white wine, local beers and soft drinks is $45 per person, with a $30 cocktail add-on, and baby showers can choose unlimited French sparkling and rosé from $25.
