About Ecco Ristorante

Ecco Ristorante is a family-owned Italian restaurant at 2 St Georges Crescent in Drummoyne, inside the Drummoyne Sailing Club, and has been running since 1994. It sits right on the water, with wide views over Sydney Harbour towards Cockatoo Island, North Sydney and Balmain, and it can be reached by boat as well as by road. The kitchen does traditional Italian cooking with a modern edge, and the restaurant opens for lunch Thursday to Sunday and dinner Thursday to Saturday, with events held outside those hours by arrangement. Across the venue it holds about 200 seated or 300 standing. Fully private options are the Terrace Room and deck, seating 60 to 100 or taking 150 for cocktails, and the Main Dining Room and deck for 90 to 130 seated. Semi-private choices are screened with linen sheers: the Beach Room seats 45, and the Harbour View Room seats 66 or holds 85 standing, opening onto a shared deck. The Deck itself is an all-weather outdoor area with a retractable roof, clear side panels and heaters, set up with lounges and high tables for 70 standing. Each party package opens with canapés as guests arrive, moves through three courses and comes with five hours of drinks. The Silver package is $115 per person and Platinum $155, with a 10% service fee on top. Cocktail events cost $119 per person with soft drinks or $149 with a standard drinks package, and there is a bridal shower package at $79. Booking the Terrace Room exclusively carries a minimum spend.

The Silver package is $115 per person and the Platinum package $155 per person, each plus a 10% service fee; one of the venue's forms also lists them at $125 and $165, so confirm which rate applies to your date and room. Cocktail events are $119 per person with non-alcoholic drinks or $149 with a standard beverage package. The bridal shower package is $79 per person, and dinner meeting packages are $120 for two courses or $130 for three, excluding GST. Taking the Terrace Room exclusively carries a minimum spend, and hiring the deck for your group alone raises it.

Food

Menus are Italian, from the restaurant's own kitchen. Function packages open with canapés as guests arrive, followed by three courses; cocktail packages are also offered for stand-up events. The chefs build the menus around seasonal produce.

Beverages

Packages include a five-hour beverage package. For cocktail events you can choose a non-alcoholic package or a standard beverage package. The Deck has its own outdoor bar.
