About Camelia Grove Hotel

Camelia Grove Hotel sits on the corner of Henderson Road in Alexandria, a heritage pub that has been serving locals for more than 150 years and leans Italian in the kitchen. Wood-fired pizza, handmade pasta and pub classics come out seven days a week. Erskineville station is roughly an 800-metre walk away, buses stop on Mitchell Road, and there is street parking in the surrounding blocks. For a party you can choose between four areas. The courtyard is an open-air terrace that holds about 70 standing or 40 seated, and the beer garden, mostly under cover with heaters, fits around 60 standing or 40 at tables. The dining room, its walls stacked with bottles, seats up to 60 for a long lunch or dinner. The private dining room is the smallest option: one long table beside an ornamental fireplace, curtains for privacy and a separate entrance, suiting 16 seated or 30 standing. Whole-venue hire can also be requested. Event food runs across share menus built around burrata, arancini, wagyu ragù and pizzas, cocktail-style canapé packages with substantial plates and dessert, and pizza packages with classic or premium toppings. Smaller groups can book a share-style set menu at $60 per person. The events team puts a package together once you send through the date, numbers and occasion, and the full event pack with pricing is emailed on request. Celebration cakes are welcome, though a cakeage fee may apply for functions.
