About Sir Frank's Wine Room @ Searock Grill
Searock Grill is in the Opera Quays colonnade along East Circular Quay, a short stroll from the Opera House steps. Its private dining room, Sir Frank's Wine Room, is known for one thing above all: an entire wall of lit wine cubbies that forms the backdrop to the room. Everything else is understated, leaving the food and the wine wall to carry the night, with dark timber floors edged in tiles, white linen on the tables, framed art and gentle overhead lights. Seated dinners take up to 50 and standing events 70, and the room can also be set up in U-shape, theatre or boardroom layout for a working lunch that includes a presentation. The grill's kitchen does the catering, including halal menus and a wide gluten-free choice. Bring a DJ or play your own music if you like. There's air conditioning, step-free access and accessible toilets. It's a good fit for a birthday dinner, client lunch or engagement celebration where being on the harbour matters, and the room has a real sense of occasion.
