About Billy Barry's
Billy Barry's is the pub on the corner of Walker Street and Blue Street in North Sydney, around fifty metres from the train station and a short walk from the metro. Inside it mixes vintage decor and booth seating with pool tables, arcade games and big screens for the sport, and it trades until 2am from Monday to Saturday. Functions run across two named areas. The Backroom is the main party space, taking 30 to 100 guests with a private bar, wall-mounted screens, a jukebox and enough floor to move around, which is why the pub pitches it at milestone birthdays, team parties and large group celebrations. High Noon is a smaller area for 15 to 30 people just off the main bar, close to the pool tables and arcade games, so a group can claim a prime corner without booking a separate room. Food comes from the pub kitchen. The canapé menu lets you pick six items for $38 per person or eight for $50, from sliders, pies and sausage rolls to prawns, sushi and skewers, and share plates and platters (cheese, antipasto, prawn and oyster, fruit) can be added. Extras on request include flowers, balloon installations, neon lettering, a photo package and arrival cocktails at $22 each. Drinks can run on a tab settled at the end of the night, and final numbers and catering are due five business days before the event.
