About Planet Entertainment
Planet Entertainment began as a karaoke business run by founder Tony Gibson, who compered nights from Sydney to Thredbo before a suggestion to add sumo suits set the company on the path to amusement hire. More than three decades later it operates from a warehouse in Mount Druitt with a crew of around 40 casual event staff, supplying schools, churches, clubs, universities, corporate clients and families. The jumping castle range is split by size. Toddler and small castles include the Tiger, Tiger Belly, Sea Life, Dinosaur, Dino Party, Cottage, Treasure Island and Cubby House designs, and a handful of these can be hired DIY for backyard parties with children under ten. Medium and large options include Scooby Doo, Toy Story, Disney Princess, Winter Wonderland, Animal Kingdom, Jungle Rumble and Pirates of Bermuda combos, plus an XL Knights castle big enough for teenagers and adults and a Boombox Bounce with a built-in speaker you can connect a playlist to. The same warehouse holds inflatable obstacle courses, dry and water slides, mechanical bulls, surfboards and reindeer, a ferris wheel and other carnival rides, a rock climbing wall, sideshow games, and popcorn, fairy floss, sno cone and hot dog machines. Most attractions are delivered, set up and run by uniformed operators, with DIY hire available on selected items to keep costs down. Every job is covered by $20 million public liability insurance. Pricing is by quote: add items to the online quote list or call, and the team will put together a package for your space, audience and budget. Castles need flat, level ground with no steps or rough surfaces.

Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to hire a jumping castle from Planet Entertainment?
Prices are not published on their site. You add castles and other attractions to an online quote list or call the office, and they build a package around your venue, crowd and budget. DIY hire of the smaller castles is the cheaper route.
Can I hire a jumping castle without an operator?
Yes, selected small jumping castles can be hired on a DIY basis for backyard parties where the children are under ten and crowd control is not a concern. Larger castles and rides are run by their trained, uniformed staff.
Do they have jumping castles that teenagers or adults can use?
Yes. The large range, including the XL Knights castle, Safari Experience, Pirates of Bermuda and Jungle Rumble combos, is aimed at teens and adults, and there are inflatable obstacle courses and games for older groups as well.
What space and surface does a castle need?
Castles such as the Boombox Bounce need flat, level ground with no steps and no rough surfaces. Setup takes around 30 minutes with two staff, and the team can talk through your site to recommend a castle that fits.
Which areas do they cover?
They work across Sydney from their Mount Druitt warehouse, and their service area page also lists Wollongong and Newcastle. Private backyard parties, schools, sports clubs and corporate family days are all regular bookings.

They had laughing clowns at the Lane Cove Rotary Fair. $8 and not even a 50c slappy hand for kids. Only 5 winning numbers for kids who can’t even add at that age. I don’t know how you dodgy people sleep at night.
