XS Events Australia is an entertainment company based in Prestons, in Sydney's south-west, that creates its own shows from start to finish. The choreography, costumes and performers all come from within the business rather than being booked through other agencies, so the dancers, acrobats and fire artists you meet on the night have rehearsed together under the XS banner. Ballerina Bliss puts a chosen number of ballet dancers, with props such as wings or fan veils, at the front door as guests arrive. After dinner, clients pick from themed shows such as the Vegas showgirl routine, a samba set, a Great Gatsby performance, a Moulin Rouge cabaret with can-can, a Bollywood stunt show, a decades throwback and an LED robot act. Adagio duos, aerial acts, hand balancing, parkour and fire shows can be mixed in, and the wardrobe holds more than 300 costumes that can be matched to your colours. Bookings start with a brief covering the date, venue, guest numbers and the acts you like, and the team returns a proposal with the chosen performers, costumes and running order. Weddings and corporate functions make up much of the work, alongside birthdays, Christmas parties and festivals. XS Events also offers styling, special effects, champagne towers and full event management, plus same-day photos and reels, so one supplier can cover several parts of the night if that suits.
