About Dargie Entertainment
Dargie Entertainment is a production company in Glebe, run by a family with three generations of performers. It began producing events and shows, later added a talent agency representing dancers, musical theatre performers and models, and also runs full-time diploma courses in dance and musical theatre. For event clients, the part that matters is its catalogue of entertainment products, which draws on that pool of trained performers. Feature shows are themed productions such as a 70s show, an 80s show, a Gatsby show, Latin Fever, Christmas in New York, Circus by Night and a Bridgerton-inspired experience. Standalone dance acts include mirror ballerinas, vintage showgirls, tap dancers, podium dancers, a Latin dance couple, French cancan and Arabian Nights routines. The circus list covers contortion solos, duos and trios, aerial silks, lyra and chandelier acts, hand balancing, LED hula hoop, fire artists, stilt walkers and an illusion magic show. For arrivals and mingling there are roving and greeting acts: champagne greeters and aerial champagne pourers, living tables, roller skaters, roving acrobats and roving close-up magic. Seasonal options lean into Christmas, with dancing Santas, reindeer and elf characters and themed greeters for end-of-year functions. Fashion work covers catwalk shows and flashmobs. Most bookings suit corporate events and larger private celebrations, and the team takes enquiries by phone or through the enquiry form on each act's page.
