Gaia Rhythm Events is an entertainment agency and production team with an office in the Sydney CBD, working with clients around Australia and the Asia Pacific. It represents a large roster of performers, including aerialists, acrobats, dancers, stilt walkers, roving characters, fire performers, drummers, musicians and children's entertainers, and many of its acts are built to order when a client arrives with a specific brief. Aerial acts cover silks, lyra and aerial hoop, trapeze, aerial net and cloud swing, and need a rigging height of at least four and a half metres with properly rated points. On the ground there are adagio acrobats, break-dance acrobatics with a strongman, parkour crews, hand-balance acts, Bollywood dancers and African drumming and dance. For arrivals and cocktail hours the agency supplies costumed stilt walkers and walkabout performers, from LED characters and themed ensembles to human statues and painted roaming artworks. Themed events are a specialty, with casts put together for Moroccan, seventies, winter wonderland, art gallery, James Bond and Australiana nights, among others. Corporate clients can book a tiered package, starting with a meet-and-greet act and one feature act for groups of 100 or more, and building up to a live band with production, a photo booth, a photographer and an on-site entertainment coordinator. The team also handles audio, AV and staging, and runs a Song to Stage team-building session in which staff write and perform a song with professional musicians. Weddings, Christmas parties, activations, trade shows and private parties are all catered for, and every event is quoted after an enquiry.
