About DanceCircus
DanceCircus is a circus and dance company based in Vaucluse, founded by performer and choreographer Eva Fernandez Adan. Her idea was to combine things that rarely share a stage, so the company's acts blend dance, acrobatics, fire, costume and physical theatre. It draws on a group of hand-picked artists such as acrobats, dancers, aerialists, stilt performers, fire artists, contortionists, jugglers, hula hoopers and human statues, plus costume makers and choreographers. Feature acts include adagio duos that mix dance with lifts and balances, contortion, hand balancing, Cyr wheel, Chinese pole, roller skaters and duo fire shows. For roving and interactive entertainment there are stilt walkers, podium acts, garden statues that come to life, crystal chandelier characters, human strolling tables that serve food and drinks, LED human serving trays and aerial champagne service. Costumes can be matched to a theme, and a company logo can be added to some pieces. Dance shows are choreographed to order, and the team will design a custom interactive act when given enough notice and a clear event brief. For weddings there are set packages that pair two or more roving performers with a short stage show within a two to three and a half hour call, from stilt walkers with a fire duo up to combinations of stilts, LED trays and an adagio act. Corporate functions, product launches, festivals and themed parties are quoted to suit. Performers hold public liability cover and RSA certificates for drinks service, and the company responds to quote requests within two business days.
