About The Del Hotel
The Del, as the Hotel Delany is known, is a locally owned pub where Darby Street meets Council Street in Cooks Hill. It has been a Darby Street gathering place for generations and today runs four bars, a bistro with a rotisserie and wood-fired pizza oven, live music, DJ sets and big screens for live sport. Functions can be set up across several areas with custom floor plans. The Sports Bar takes up to 20 for a casual get-together or a game. The covered ground-level Courtyard holds 50 standing or 30 seated and can be blocked off while staying close to the main bar. The Darby Room, with its own bar, optional screens and a small courtyard, takes 100 standing or 60 seated. The largest option is the exclusive space on Level 1, which fits up to 500 for a cocktail party or 150 seated and comes with its own bar, a fireplace and an oversized screen. The whole hotel can also be booked exclusively on enquiry, including the open-air terrace. The Del hosts milestone birthdays, engagement parties, anniversaries, long lunches, corporate events, EOFY parties, product launches and team celebrations. Events are catered from the bistro, with curated food and drink packages and entertainment options available.
