About The Albion Hotel
The Albion Hotel is a long-standing local pub on the corner of Hannell Street in Wickham, behind a modest brick facade. It is a short walk from the Wickham transport hub and close to the harbour, and it trades seven days for lunch, dinner and drinks, with rooms upstairs for guests who want to stay the night. Inside, the pub keeps things casual: a dining room for long meals, a bar for after-work rounds, and screens for the big sporting fixtures. The venue describes its function spaces as flexible, and the events team works out where your group sits once it knows your numbers and the style of the event, whether that is a birthday, end-of-financial-year drinks or a corporate presentation. Function food is built from a canapé list where you choose six or eight items, covering lamb skewers, sliders, arancini, satay chicken, tempura prawns and vegetarian options. Share plates for small tables and larger platters for eight to ten people add cheese, antipasto, fruit and fresh prawns with oysters. Cocktails on arrival can be added, and drinks for the night run on a bar tab secured by a card. The pub can also arrange flowers and balloon installations through local suppliers. Groups of 21 or more are held with a card pre-authorisation, final numbers and menu choices are due five business days ahead, and outside food and drink is not allowed without approval.

Frequently asked questions
How much do function canapés cost at The Albion Hotel?
The canapé menu is $38 per person for six choices or $50 per person for eight choices, picked from the function list.
Can we order platters instead of canapés?
Yes. Share plates such as wings, squid and arancini suit four to six people, and platters for eight to ten include cheese at $60, antipasto at $80 and prawns with oysters at $110.
How do drinks work for a function?
Drinks can run on a bar tab, which needs credit card details and ID as security and is settled at the end of the event. Cocktails on arrival are $22 each from a choice of two.
What do we need to do to secure the booking?
Groups of 21 or more are confirmed with a card pre-authorisation through Stripe. Final numbers and catering choices are due five business days before the event, when prearranged food and drinks must be paid.
Can the pub decorate the space for us?
The team can organise flowers through a local florist and balloon installations for your event; ask when you enquire.

This is a great local pub. We dropped in a couple of times while sailing from Sydney to Port Stephen’s and back for a rib-eye with veges and a couple of beers and it is clearly a popular local pub. Oldies, youngies and a…
