About Jewells Tavern
Jewells Tavern is the local pub on Ntaba Road in Jewells, with a sports bar, a bistro, a beer garden and several areas set aside for functions. It hosts birthdays, engagements, Christmas parties, corporate gatherings and wedding receptions for groups from 10 up to 120, with cocktail, seated or meeting layouts. The Loft is a mezzanine room with its own private bar, holding 80 standing or 40 seated, and it also sets up as a boardroom for 20. The Lounge is the largest area, taking 120 standing or 80 seated, and works well for bigger parties or a private trivia or bingo night. The Deck, sometimes called the BBQ area, is a quieter outdoor spot beside the fish pond for about 30 to 40 guests, and the beer garden takes up to 100 standing. Function packages keep things simple. The Emerald package is $1,000 with room hire, five platters or pizzas, a $350 bar tab, five bunches of balloons and table linen, and the Diamond package is $2,000 with ten platters and a $450 bar tab. Platters range from vegetarian finger food to charcuterie and sliders, and pizzas can be added. You can decorate the room yourself and the staff will help set up, but confetti and glitter are not allowed. Outside food and drink are not permitted apart from a celebration cake.

Is there a deposit or minimum spend?
A $250 deposit secures the private function room, and it is returned once the $1,000 minimum spend is reached. Cancelling within seven days of the event forfeits the deposit.
Can we bring a cake and decorations?
Yes. Celebration cakes are welcome and you can decorate the room, with staff happy to help set up. Confetti and glitter are not allowed, and no other outside food or drinks can be brought in.
Does The Loft have its own bar?
Yes. The Loft is a mezzanine with a private bar, which suits milestone birthdays and boozy brunches for up to 80 standing.
