About Function Room @ Edgeworth Tavern
Edgeworth Tavern is a local pub on the corner of Main Road and Minmi Road in Edgeworth, with a bistro serving lunch and dinner every day and a bar that trades late. Upstairs, away from the main bar, it keeps a private room for functions. The Function Room has its own bar, its own toilets, air conditioning, a big screen TV and a dance floor. A private balcony gives guests somewhere to step outside during the night. The room is furnished with high bar tables and stools and holds 70 seated or 100 standing. It works for cocktail-style parties as well as relaxed or corporate gatherings. Food comes from the pub kitchen as share platters, priced per platter and each serving 10 or 20 people. Choices run from sliders, tacos and skewers to party pies, prawns, antipasto and fruit, and package options can also be arranged. Drinks are served from the room's own bar, and outside alcohol is not allowed under the licence. You are welcome to bring your own cake, which the staff will store and serve with cutlery and napkins. There is space for a soloist or DJ, or you can bring a Bluetooth speaker, with any entertainment approved by management first. A $250 deposit secures the date, and 18th and 21st birthdays are taken with paid security.

Platters for 20 include wings, sausage rolls with mini beef pies, bruschetta, arancini, party pies, black tiger prawns, vegetable skewers, beef koftas, antipasto and seasonal fruit. Gluten free, vegetarian and vegan items are marked, and you may bring your own cake.

Do you host 18th and 21st birthdays?
Yes, with security booked for the night at $50 an hour, with a $250 minimum. Guests under 18 must be supervised by an adult and leave the premises by 10pm.
What deposit and payment terms apply?
A $250 deposit secures the room and comes off your final bill. Food orders are placed and paid in full at least seven days before the event, and cancelling within seven days forfeits the deposit. A minimum spend may apply depending on the space, and the functions team confirms it when you enquire.

Went in for a young adult birthday, food was ok, very disappointed with my bangers n mash, very small serving but the other dishes were ok. Fairly quiet for a sat night, lighting was rather dim though.

6 patrons, chicken supreme good, parmi good, snitty 7/10, pork good. 2 x lamb shanks. mine was cold and tough. Worst one ive ever had. Only comes with rice. Yuk
