Vibe Entertainment Company brings DJs, MCs and live performers to weddings, private parties and corporate functions on the Mornington Peninsula. The business is based in Melbourne and was started in 2011 by Stephen Kipa, who began DJing and MCing in his teens. Sheereen Kipa looks after clients as entertainment manager. Most bookings are built around a DJ. Before the event you go through the music together and settle on a direction, then the DJ mixes live and reads the room so guests of all ages stay on the floor. Many of the DJs can also host, which means one person covers the announcements, the speeches and the timing with venue staff. Live musicians can be added over the DJ or booked as a stand-alone act – saxophone, percussion, bouzouki, vocalists, or an acoustic duo or trio. Roving dancers, magicians and caricaturists are also available, which suits cultural celebrations and engagements as much as a Peninsula wedding.
