About Classic & Prestige Wedding Car Hire
Classic & Prestige Wedding Car Hire is a family business that has driven Melbourne couples to their weddings for more than 25 years. The fleet is made up of 1960s and 1970s British cars: a white 1965 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III, a white 1969 and a black 1970 Daimler Royal Limousine, and a matched pair of black 1975 Jaguar Sovereign sedans. Each car is air-conditioned and trimmed in leather and walnut. The Rolls-Royce and Jaguars carry the bride and up to two others, while each Royal Limousine takes up to six, so a couple can book a single feature car or combine several for bridesmaids, groomsmen and parents. Every booking comes with a suited chauffeur, ribbon and tulle on the car, a red carpet, umbrellas in case of rain, winter wraps, bottled water, mints and lollies, plus a small sewing and first-aid kit for last-minute mishaps. The owners, Debbie and Rob, work through the day with each couple beforehand – pick-up addresses, ceremony time, photo locations, the photographer's details and the reception drive-away – and check in by phone ahead of the date to confirm the plan. On the day the cars double as a backdrop for arrival shots and post-ceremony portraits. All vehicles are licensed with the Victorian Government and the chauffeurs hold the required accreditation. Rates cover metropolitan Melbourne, with a surcharge possible for longer distances, and couples are welcome to arrange a time to view the cars before deciding. Fleet & Booking Details
Booking: send an enquiry with your date and locations, then complete the booking details (pick-up addresses and times, ceremony, photo stops, photographer, reception and drive-away).
A $200 deposit per car secures the date and the balance is due two weeks before the wedding; time over the booking is charged in 15-minute and half-hour increments. Children under seven cannot be carried, and the cars travel only limited unsealed roads.

A $200 deposit per car holds the date and comes off the final balance, which is due two weeks before the wedding. The deposit is an administrative fee and is not refunded if the booking is cancelled.
Can young children ride in the cars?
No. The classic cars cannot be fitted with child restraints, so by law children under seven cannot travel in them – plan separate transport for flower girls and page boys of that age.
