About The Victoria Hotel
The Victoria Hotel has been pouring beers on Hyde Street in Yarraville since 1873. Today it runs a bistro, a sports bar and a semi-covered beer garden with a rear car park, and a functions team that handles everything from intimate dinners to weddings. There are two private function rooms. The Victoria Room takes up to 120 standing or 90 seated, with its own bar and bathrooms, light from four overhead skylights and audio-visual equipment. The Hyde Room also holds up to 120 standing (up to 100 in the function pack) or 60 seated, with a private entrance and bar, an adjoining terrace over Hyde Street, a wireless microphone and ceiling-mounted screens, which suits presentations as well as parties. Smaller groups can use the Nook, a semi-private part of the bistro for up to 30, or a semi-private corner of the beer garden for around 50. The pub has air conditioning, heating, accessible entry and toilets, and free wi-fi. Canapé packages run from $37 per person for six choices to $56 for ten, with substantial items at $12.50 each; platters, grazing tables and dessert stations are available too. Share-style set menus are $61 for two courses or $73 for three, and alternate-drop menus $67 or $78, all for 20 guests or more. Drinks packages start at $48 per person for two hours, or set up a bar tab or a cash bar. No cakeage is charged.
