About The Third Day
The Third Day is an event venue in a 1920s warehouse on Macaulay Road in North Melbourne. Over the years the building has been a flag factory and a costume store, and it now mixes exposed brick, greenery and street art across 800 square metres. The Warehouse Bar is the main room, with raised lounge areas, suspended garden domes and a DJ booth in the middle of the floor. It scales from a group of around 75 up to several hundred, and the whole venue takes up to 700 guests. The Chivas Lounge looks out over the venue and has its own bar and bathroom, so it works as a bridal suite, a VIP room or a green room for speakers. Lushsux Laneway is an outdoor courtyard covered in murals by the street artist Lushsux, often used for red-carpet arrivals or a wedding aisle. Events can be seated or standing, from a cocktail party with canapés and champagne to a dance party with food trucks and a band. The team organises catering, drinks, music and photographers through its own network of suppliers. Inclusive packages cover staffing, furniture, audio-visual gear, lighting and the clean-up afterwards. Screens and sound are in place for speeches, photo montages and presentations. Events run from about 50 guests up to 700 for a whole-venue takeover. The Warehouse Bar can be set up for smaller groups of around 75 and scaled up from there.

The Third Day is a great local space for a drink and snacks from the food trucks. Good tunes, good vibes and really friendly staff. Espresso martinis and tequila sunrise highly recommended
