Orlo is a Greek restaurant at 44 Oxford Street, Collingwood, cooking Athenian-inspired dishes to share with a wine-focused list. It fills the old Dyason cordial factory, an 1880s red brick building whose high ceilings and bare brickwork have been kept. The Terrace is the restaurant's main function room. It is fully enclosed, with a roof that retracts in good weather, timber beams, plenty of greenery, and heating and cooling so it works through every season. Seating runs to 42 guests over two tables, or 28 when everyone sits together at one long table. Wedding parties sometimes use it for a ceremony or welcome drinks before moving inside to eat. For a seated meal there are sharing menus at $90 and $120 per person, and a set menu with a choice of mains at $135. Cocktail-style events can choose six canapés for $60 per person or eight for $80, with extra items at $9 each per person. Two-hour drinks packages are $55 or $65 per person and cover prosecco, wine, tap beer and soft drinks. An extra hour, a spritz hour, basic spirits or a cocktail on arrival can be added. The rest of the building can be booked too: a 16-seat Mezzanine, a Main Dining Room for up to 60 and The Cordial Club, a basement cocktail bar, as well as the whole venue. Send an enquiry to book.
